APPEARANCE
FULL DESCRIPTION: Fire in the Daylight Sky (or Fire for short) is a big-bodied cat with lots of fur. He gets his name from his bright orange coat, and if a cat inspects it they can find slight dark orange patterns in his fur. He truly looks like a flame, and the edges of his fur are a light orange that make him look like the light is shining on him at all times.
SHORT DESCRIPTION: A fluffy tom-cat with yellow eyes, he also has barely distinguishable dark orange patterns all over his body.
PERSONALITY
Fire is as passionate as his name suggests, though he isn’t as destructive. No, he’s quite the opposite. He’s a perfect peacemonger. Well.. when you don’t count the prey. He is outgoing and friendly towards all that he meets, and often extends conversations long past when they should normally wither away. If conversations with him get cut off, he’ll almost always continue them at another time, though that leads to confusion when he doesn’t actually tell anyone that he’s starting it again.
And while all this sounds perfectly fine, if not a little annoying, everything has its downsides. The fact that he’s a peace-monger will mean that he’ll (almost) never fight back, and instead prefers to try to be diplomatic about things. His outgoing and friendly personality means that he trusts everyone who comes to him, and will rarely think that a cat is actually bad. He’s gullible and can be very annoying, pestering cats without seeming to read the signs that they want to be left alone. And while he tries his best... sometimes his best doesn’t cut it.
(He is also extremely anxious about almost everything, which is part of the reason he talks so much, but he does his absolute best not to show that)
HISTORY
Fire was born to his mother and father, nicknamed Wings and Current, and has three other siblings. His brother, Horns, and his sisters Light and Trail all live in the clan with him. None of them ever encountered any difficulties, and lived their peaceful lives in The Tribe of Gushing Water. They always had enough food, always had friends and each other, and never had to experience pain of any kind. They all trained well and supported each other through life, the perfect picture of a perfect family.
Well.. that’s what he tells other cats, anyway.
That’s not what really happened. The older cats of The Tribe and his family all remember how he ran off as a kit, heart full of fire and a determination to make a mark on the world. In short, he didn’t do that. Not even close. He met a rogue who changed him from a determined kit to a passive (and, frankly, anxious) paw. Yes, the rogue trained him, as his clan found out when he returned, but that personality-changing something still happened. Something he doesn’t talk about. Not to his few friends, and certainly not to his family.
But anyway. After he came back, a mentor tested him to see if he was still a kit or if he was to be an apprentice, and were surprised to find that he had the knowledge that suited his age despite the fact that he wasn’t formally trained. They then guided Fire, watching closely in case some of the knowledge was wrong, but it never was. Eventually, he became a prey-hunter without any problem, and that’s where he is now.
