Timberheart waded through the chilly waters of the Tide pools of Zephyr Beach. His fur was already completely soaked, and plastered to his sides, but he moved through the water so fluidly he barely disturbed the surface at all. It had come with practice- as well as a bit of natural talent, and a love for water. Timberheart loved the weightlessness he felt when submerged, loved the refreshing feeling against his skin. And best of all, here in Tideclan, someone almost always wanted to go swimming with him! Or fishing, as he was doing now, with his current companion: Sharktooth.
Sharktooth was only a moon younger than Timberheart himself, and Timberheart had known the other Tom for a very long time because of it. He was glad of the fact, as Sharktooth wasn't overly social, and Timberheart had a feeling they wouldn't be as comfortable around each other if they had recently met.
As he turned to Sharktooth, his smile was warm and welcoming as usual. "Thanks for coming out to fish with me, Sharktooth. Water's a little cold, huh?" His laugh was deep in his chest, as he waded on, nearing a promising cluster of rocks- could be some shelled creatures to find. "But the prey is swimming strong for this time of year. We should have plenty to bring back with us." He added as an afterthought, his tail swaying from side to side on the water's surface.
He didn't like traveling alone, which was why he was so glad he was in the kindest of the three clans. He loved Tideclan with all of his heart, and he was told his heart was bigger than most. He didn't really know why he was told this so often, he merely treated others with kindness and tried to be generous and helpful. He supposed he must be doing something right, since he wasn't exactly disliked in the Clan.
