APPEARANCE
FULL DESCRIPTION: Firefeather has a very sweet appearance. She has a bouncy gait that gives off the appearance of a permanent spring in her step. Her light-weight build makes her very fluid on her feet and very dexterous with her delicate paws. Her voice is high-pitched and usually very airy. Its more likely to hear Firefeather squeak than growl.
Firefeather supports and overall average build for a SumacClan cat: muscular and intimidating. Her forelegs are noticeably thick and surely capable of delivering strong blows to her opponents. Her back legs are equally strong, developed over moons of her favorite hobby: climbing.
Firefeather's pelt is a mix of white and tabby orange. Her fur is a fire-orange that she inherited from her father with definitive, darker tabby markings. Due to her bicolour genes, most of her coat is actually white. Only her head, back, tail, and back legs have patches of orange. Firefeather's pelt is very thick but only medium in length. Her eyes are a nice olive colour.
SHORT DESCRIPTION: A orange and white tabby she cat with olive eyes.
PERSONALITY
Firefeather is nothing but a pretty ball of fluff and claws. She's quite uncomplicated in personality. Egotistical, prideful, flirtatious, and charming. Just to name a few. Firefeather takes joy in her youth and still retains her kit-like energy. She bounces off the walls like a hyperactive bouncy ball of endless energy; always getting into trouble and on the look out for a good old-fashioned adventure. Her feet have as little filter as her mouth. She considers herself above things like boundaries and rules. She speaks her mind and lets her paws wander where they like. As a SumacClan cat, she has that snobbish attitude that gives her little regard for rules or codes. It isn't uncommon to find Firefeather at the heart of a boarder skirmish. There's a high chance she probably started the fight.
As much trouble as she is, Firefeather is pleasant in many ways. She's easy on the eyes and very easy going. She tends to go with the flow and can make friends with just about anybody who piques her interest. She has a confidence that is difficult to find and has quite the silver tongue. Gifted with a quick wit and an endless imagination, Firefeather can be quite the poet when she speaks. But not many can appreciate her craft.
Her most unattractive quality would be her pride always leads to her downfall. Firefeather fancies herself quite the hero of her own story and refuses anything less than the best. She has high standards and is very picky in all aspects of life. She cannot resist a challenge and takes offence very easily.

HISTORY
The "Red Sisters" of SumacClan were born on a blistery leaffall day. Born to two exceptional SumacClan warriors, Firekit, Saffronkit, Daykit and Sunkit were loved from their first breathe. It was obvious who the four she kits belonged to: Gingerstripe and Rosedust. All four sisters shared their parents red colour; some more so than others. Firekit took after her father's more fire-orange colour and his dark tabby stripe pattern on her orange fur. The clan jokingly came to call the kits the "Red Sisters". The name would stick far better than anyone had expected.
The Red Sisters got along surprisingly well. They all had some form of head strong characteristics, but never focused their fire on each other so much as they did the other cats in the nursery. They were quick to learn the value of kinship and tied red strings between each other like a carefully cultivated spider web. Firekit was usually at the head of the pack when causing trouble. She was clever and bored, a dangerous combination for a growing kit. She was the one who headed their expeditions into the clan camp; she was the one to talk back to all their elders; she was the one who would always have a wicked, scheming grin on her face and a devious plan on the tip of her tongue. StarClan bless her sisters, they were always up for one of Firekit's plots. Eventually, Rosedust got sick of trying to keep her kits in line and unleashed them on the rest of the clan. She kicked back for a nap while her kits tore through the clan like a hyperactive hurricane.
The whole clan breathed a sigh of relief when the Red Sisters were made apprentices. The newly graduated Firepaw was given a handsome tom named Blackcloud as her mentor. He had a one-track mind and callous, but praised for being one of the best hunters in the clan. He seemed to never come back from hunting empty-handed. The pair never got along and they never would. Firepaw shied away from her new responsibilities. She'd much rather spend her days playing with her sisters than running laps around the territory or learning how to climb a tree. Blackcloud was expecting mentoring to be a breeze, but they were both very wrong.
Firepaw was quick to learn how unforgiving SumacClan was. They had no use for weak cats and had no tolerance for slackers. She had to learn how to survive on her own. Blackcloud was of little help. His training methods were barbaric at best, yet oddly effective. It only took a moon for Firepaw to learn his true weakness: climbing. Blackcloud was horribly afraid of heights and refused to climb trees. To escape his tyranny, Firepaw would scale the tallest tree and refuse to come down.
She spent her evenings lamenting her sorrows to her sisters and her days flitting about the branches of the jungle like a songbird. This was how she spent most of her apprenticeship and how she earned her warrior name. She was given the suffix 'feather' for her love of heights and flying around the treetops like a bird.
The newly minted Firefeather rose to the rank of warrior with her sisters at her side: Saffronleaf, Daybloom, and Sunsnap. The Red Sisters were ready to face anything.
For her part, Firefeather felt a little out of place among her sisters. Not long after they were made warriors, all three of her sisters found mates to settle down with. Saffronleaf had her beautiful she cat named Sandstream. Daybloom had her former-mentor-turned-mate Greymouse. She later would have his kits: Guppykit and Shark-kit. Even Sunsnap found a mate in Smallfall.
StarClan answered her prayers the next moon. Firefeather was chosen to go to that moon's Gathering. Firefeather had been to Gatherings before, but seeing the gathered leaders stand proudly before the huge crowd of cats ignited something in her chest. Firefeather wanted to be leader. Leader of SumacClan.
With a goal in mind, Firefeather returned to the clan with a spring in her step. She was determined to become leader of the clan before the year ended. Nothing was going to stop her from completing her goal.
