APPEARANCE
FULL DESCRIPTION: Short in stature and thin in frame, it would be easy to overlook Emberblaze, were it not for the firey presence she exhumes. Her build is agile, and made for speed and controled movement. Her fur is short everywhere but her tail, where it plumes as if she were a long-haired cat. Her pelt is almost entirely black, aside from a sparse brindle of ginger fur and the bright ginger tip of her tail.
Her eyes are her most striking feature, their Amber color so intense you can almost feel the fire in her heart scorching your soul. Their gaze has been known to stop cats in their tracks when she's angry, and you don't want to be caught in the cross fire.
She has few notable scars, though the most prominent is the V shaped nick in her left ear that she received during the battle that marked her final day as an apprentice.
SHORT DESCRIPTION: A small, lithe she-cat, with short black fur dotted with ginger brindle, a long, plumed, ginger-tipped tail, and firey Amber eyes.
PERSONALITY
Emberblaze is not, by any means, a patient cat. She moves faster than a wildfire, in emotion, thought, and action. One moment she could be completely calm, and the next, roaring like an untamed flame. Her quick mind, agile paws, and fiery temper make her a formidable threat to any cat, depsite how small she is.
However, beneath all the fire and brimstone that is her primary personality, she is actually a very sweet cat. She cares very deeply for each and every member of the clan, and would put her life down in an instant to protect them. She is also exceedingly curious, and sometimes a bit nosy.
She is an avid problem-solver, and spends a great deal of time in thought, figuring out new ways to help the clan through tough situations. When she isn't thinking, she's doing; almost always in motion, doing something to assist her fellow clanmates.
Never one to back down from a challenge, she can fight even more avidly with her words than her teeth and claws, and will often slay others with nothing but cold logic. She is incredibly stubborn and can sometimes be short-sighted, having great trouble trusting outsiders even if they've shown nothing but promise.
Above all, she prioritizes the well-being of the clan, and is willing to do just about anything to make Coastclan succeed.

HISTORY
Kithood~ Ember's kithood was far from a quiet one. She was in almost constant competition with her only brother, Lionkit, and together they made quite the ruckus each day in camp. Emberkit wasn't quite as loud as Lionkit, but she blamed that on his big mouth, always stating that she was at a disadvantage.
It was almost comical, really, that given her miniscule size, Emberkit was already picking fights with apprentices when she'd reached her fifth moon, and grown tired of the same routines. She actually managed to convince one to spar with her, and wasn't doing terribly, when the Deputy found them and scolded both equally. She'd argued that she was ready to be an apprentice, and made her argument pretty convincing, but was of course denied. She was, however, commended for her spirit, though misplaced.
Apprenticeship~ Her days an Apprentice were some of her favorites, as she shone as brightly as ever with each test of her skills. She worked as hard as she could to be the best she could be, and it paid off in the form of avid praise and strong, toned muscles.
She never lost that rebellious streak, however, and when the day came that a battle was commencing between CoastClan and their sworn enemy, SumacClan, she and Lionpaw disobeyed their mentor's orders and followed the battle patrol to the fight. Emberpaw fought bravely, holding her own even against the massive SumacClan Warriors. Lionpaw was not so lucky, and ended up being struck down by an enormous enemy warrior. When Emberpaw witnessed her brother's demise, her heart shattered in grief, and she knew if they had listened to their orders, it would never have happened.
Emberpaw battled her brother's killer, who had already been weakened by his attacks. Her speed aided her greatly, and her eyes blazed with a furious fire the entire time. The battle ended in victory, the Warrior she was fighting turned tail, and when they returned to camp, Emberpaw was brought before the clan for a meeting.
-insert Leader's name- Scolded Emberpaw fiercely for disobeying her mentor, and for a moment, Emberpaw thought she would be told she wasn't allowed to become a Warrior. It was then that the Leader's expression changed, and they informed Emberpaw that she had fought bravely, and with such ferocity that it had surely helped to turn the tide of the battle. He/She named her Emberblaze, for her blazing spirit and fiery prowess in battle, but warned her that disobedience would not be tolerated as a Warrior. He/she reminded her that she could have ended up like her brother, and still could, by not following orders.
Warrior~ Emberblaze took the Leader's words to heart, and decided then and there that she would make a change. She began to treat others with far more respect, and listened carefully to the instructions she was given. This change, along with her usual determination, helped her to be very successful as a Warrior. Soon enough, she was given an apprentice of her own.
She enjoyed mentoring a lot, and absolutely adored her apprentice, Bluepaw, never shirking her responsibilities as his teacher. He had a very different temperament than she did, which was probably good, as he could easily keep up with Emberblaze without getting offended when she got short with him. He wasn't very confrontational, but learned a lot about confidence and determination from Emberblaze.
When he became a Warrior, and gained the name Bluefall, Emberblaze couldn't have been more proud.
